The nomination recognises the success of our Impact, Influence and Confidence (IIC) Programme, a four-part programme that enables talented women to communicate with impact and build self-belief.
Delivered for Shawbrook Bank, the programme, designed for mid-level women managers, has significantly enhanced participants' leadership, communication, and confidence.
Debbie Griffin, Chief People & Marketing Officer at Shawbrook Bank, praises the programme: “The IIC programme delivered by Bit Famous has been a remarkable success, reinforcing our commitment to seeing women leaders fulfil their true potential. The feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, rekindling a sense of dynamism, confidence, and new-found ambition among participants.”
Retaining key talent and supporting women managers
The IIC Programme, led by Penny Haslam, Founder and Managing Director of Bit Famous, addresses common challenges faced by mid-level women managers, such as stress, burnout, low self-belief, and communication barriers.
The programme’s innovative approach includes individual and group coaching sessions, fostering a powerful peer support network that continues to benefit participants long after the programme’s conclusion.
Rachel Pegg, Head of Employee Communications at Shawbrook Bank, noted: “The IIC programme helped me understand unnoticed strengths and ways to overcome self-imposed barriers. This has made me more efficient, decisive, and articulate at work, positively impacting my mental well-being.”
Kat Klehr, (formerly) Director of Compliance and Ethics at Shawbrook Bank, shared her experience: “This coaching has been life-changing for my team member who participated. It has helped her regain confidence and brought her back to her true self after a career break.”
Long-term business benefits of the Impact Influence and Confidence Programme
The success of the IIC Programme extends beyond personal growth, contributing to significant business benefits for Shawbrook Bank, including retaining key talent, improved job satisfaction, enhanced leadership capabilities, and career advancements. The programme’s innovative group coaching model encourages continuous improvement and fosters a supportive, inclusive corporate culture.
Penny Haslam, Founder and Managing Director of Bit Famous, commented: “Being shortlisted for the Personnel Today Awards is a tremendous honour. It reflects our dedication to providing strategic and effective coaching that not only empowers individuals but also drives organisational success.
This nomination highlights our dedication to powerful, long-lasting and creative training and coaching. Our programmes boost leaders' skills and confidence, ultimately helping organisations grow and succeed.
