Bit Famous is great for business

Duncan Easterbrook RTP Global

Bit Famous has been vital in equipping our senior leadership team with the communication skills and confidence needed to successfully represent RTP Global at our key events.

In April 2023, we held our first founders summit for clients in New York, aimed at sharing thought leadership, building relationships, educating, and inspiring our founders. Our team hosted panels, delivered presentations, and conducted fireside interviews on complex topics like IPO preparation, M&A, and GTM strategy for fast-growing tech businesses. Not all of our leaders speak English as their first language, and many were new to these roles. Bit Famous gave us the skills and confidence to plan, script, and perform at our best, representing RTP's brand effectively at these crucial events.

Duncan Easterbrook, Chief Finance Officer, RTP Global

RTP Global, a tech-focused Venture Capital firm managing over $1bn in funds, has backed more than 110 start-ups since 2000. But when their senior leaders were tasked with moderating panels, chairing discussions, and conducting fireside interviews at a high-stakes New York investor conference, they needed our support. Hosting ambitious global founders and high-profile figures like Red Bull’s Christian Horner required confidence, skill and a polished approach.

Bit Famous delivered bespoke training to prepare them with:

  • Role preparation: Building confidence for hosting panels and interviews.
  • Theme development: Crafting a unified event theme aligned with their mission.
  • Communication skills: Ensuring clear messaging, even for non-native English speakers.
  • Audience engagement: Teaching strategies to connect with investors and founders.
  • Panel techniques: Equipping leaders to excel as thought leaders.
Deborah Griffin

The IIC programme delivered by Bit Famous has been a remarkable success story that's reinforced our commitment to see women leaders fulfil their true potential.

As a signatory of HM Treasury's Women in Finance Charter, Shawbrook Bank is and will always be committed to diversity and the progression of women from mid-tier level into senior roles.
Feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. The programme has not only succeeded in strengthening our talent pipeline, it has rekindled a sense of dynamism, confidence, and newfound ambition among attendees. Those involved have created a network that continues to meet regularly to support each other and are now seen as positive visible role models for others in the organisation and wider industry.
In terms of ROI, I would estimate the programme has created a cost saving in excess of 10x the investment, both in productivity gains as well as cost avoidance in terms of business continuity and recruitment fees through retention.

Debbie Griffin, Chief People & Marketing Officer, Shawbrook Bank

Shawbrook Bank needed to support talented female middle managers who were struggling with stress, burnout, low self-belief, and communication challenges. These problems, along with a lack of female role models, threatened to lose valuable talent and slowed progress towards the bank’s diversity goals.

To address this, Bit Famous created and delivered the Impact, Influence, and Confidence (IIC) Programme. The programme included one-on-one coaching to define career goals, group coaching to build confidence and communication skills, and development resources to support ongoing learning.

The IIC Programme delivered measurable results:

  • Increased visibility: Enhanced communication skills earned greater recognition from senior leaders.
  • Talent retention: A peer support network fostered collaboration and inclusivity, reducing turnover.
  • Financial impact: Achieved a 10x ROI through productivity gains and cost savings in recruitment.
  • Leadership growth: All participants were promoted within the business applied new strategies to inspire teams and drive innovation.
Tim Reid NHBC

Bit Famous has played a crucial role in supporting NHBC to enhance its influence and share its expertise in the construction and property sector.

Bit Famous provided training and coaching for eight senior directors and managers. They helped us become expert moderators of panel discussions and engaging participants at event discussions and roundtables. We learned how to be more relatable and memorable, efficiently prepare for speaking engagements, and handle audience questions with expertise. Thanks to Bit Famous, our team now supports NHBC with confidence, making more meaningful connections with industry professionals. Since working with Bit Famous, our team has put their skills into practice and begun to chair industry panels, which have overwhelmingly landed well

Nicola Yarnall

Bit Famous delivered an outstanding half-day workshop for our Council of Governors and the impact was both immediate and tangible.

As an employee-owned, community interest company, serving a population of over 11 million people across 10 counties through community hospitals, clinics, schools, and home-based care, it is crucial for our governors to confidently amplify their visibility and influence to champion our ambition effectively to colleagues.

Penny’s engaging, insightful, and practical approach provided our team with the tools and self-assurance needed to communicate with greater clarity, authenticity, and impact. The session was not only incredibly energising but also transformative, equipping our governors to step into the spotlight with purpose. It was exactly what we needed to support our commitment to empowering leadership and our members’ voice across Provide Community.

They needed to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of their governors. The aim was to help them communicate their message more widely, increase engagement with colleagues, and further develop their roles.

Bit Famous delivered a half-day workshop focusing on:

  • Motivation: Motivating participants to 'get out there', make connections, and communicate their vision and culture more effectively.
  • Limiting beliefs and imposterism: Challenging self-doubt, shifting from 'showing off' to authentically 'showcasing' useful ideas and knowledge.
  • Performance, Image and Exposure: Understanding why getting exposure for your work is essential for personal and organisational success.

They spoke passionately about their experience and how much they had learnt. We continue to work with Bit Famous for our training needs as they are simply the best at what they do.

"A fantastic job"

Bit Famous have done a fantastic job in boosting our team's confidence and ability to articulate and sell the vision and story of LEEDS 2023 to media, business and political stakeholders.  As a time-limited start-up with a hard-deadline, we needed to move fast to establish our credibility with stakeholders quickly.  The work they've done with us has allowed us to crystallise the 'why?' organisations, companies and the public should back us; it's also given us the tools and learning to get out there confidently and secure new partnerships, business relationships and funding. Since their training our media and digital engagement is up by 91% and 65% respectively and we've landed 10 new businesses as sponsors including our first all important headline partner, at a six-figure level!
